African Drumming
For 15 years David has developed professional and bespoke workshops for education establishments in Staffordshire, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Lancashire, Manchester, Trafford, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, West Midlands, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Flintshire, Denbighshire and Montgomeryshire. He will arrive at your venue with a host of African instruments including djembes (hand drums) djuns (stick drums) balafon (African xylophone) calabash (African fruit) krin (log drum), tama (talking drum) a go-go bells, various shakers and clap sticks. Every participant will have an instrument to play and during the workshop will have the chance to change their place to play another instrument.
End of day performance
The end of day performance option to the workshops has been developed by David over a number of years. Each session during the day is tailored towards a performance for parents, other children etc. The performance contains an African song, drumming and dance with the children dressed in African shirts and head bands.
