KAMARA

Kamara are a West African Drum and Dance Troupe. It’s members come from Guinea Conakry, West Africa, Barbados and UK. They play the music of Guinea Conakry, West Africa, which is at times fast and powerful and at times melodic and beautiful. Their performances can include a variety of authentic African instruments including percussion, kora, balafon, vocals, plus acrobatics and dance.

They aim to represent all that is beautiful about West African music.

The African Ballet style aims to impart stories and information as well as to entertain the audience. They aim to have the audience dancing, laughing, singing and playing if they wish.

Members of Kamara have performed worldwide and have a wealth of performance experience which all adds to the Kamara experience.
